Treatment for Anxiety & Depression

Our treatment for anxiety and depression is designed to help you feel steadier, clearer, and more like yourself again-even if you have been struggling for a long time. We recognize that these experiences show up in many ways: constant worrying, panic, irritability, low energy, hopelessness, trouble sleeping, or difficulty enjoying things you used to love.
In our work together, we start by slowing down and truly understanding your story. As a trauma‑trained Licensed Clinical Social Worker, our Clinical Director carefully assesses for depressive disorders, anxiety conditions, and the life stressors around them. This lets us create a focused plan instead of asking you to "just try harder" or "think positive."
We use evidence‑based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and somatic nervous‑system regulation. In plain language, that means you learn to:
- Notice and shift patterns of thinking that fuel worry or hopelessness
- Build daily routines that gently lift mood and reduce overwhelm
- Calm your body's stress responses through breathing, grounding, and movement
- Strengthen self‑compassion so you are not battling yourself on top of everything else
For some, sessions focus on untangling long‑term depressive disorders; for others, we concentrate on specific triggers like work stress, relationship conflict, or big life changes. If anxiety and depression are impacting your family, we can also include partners or caregivers when helpful.
Our goal is not perfection; it is helping you create a life that feels worth waking up to, with more moments of ease than dread. You will not be rushed, shamed, or treated as a diagnosis. You will be treated as a whole person who deserves care, understanding, and practical support.
