Youth Mentoring Services

Our youth mentoring services are designed to help young people ages 9-18 feel seen, capable, and hopeful about their future. We combine emotional support with concrete skill‑building so youth are not just "talking about" change-they are practicing it.
Life skills coaching gives youth tools for everyday success: managing time and homework, making safer decisions, handling money basics, and caring for their own mental and physical well‑being. In career guidance sessions, mentors help students explore their interests, understand different education and job paths, and set realistic, inspiring goals.
Social development is at the heart of our work. Through interactive activities and conversations, youth practice communication, empathy, and teamwork. Conflict resolution coaching teaches them how to navigate disagreements with peers, siblings, and adults without shutting down or exploding. They learn how to use their voice clearly while still respecting others.
Our after‑school mentoring provides structured support during a critical part of the day. Youth have access to take‑home toolkits and activities that extend learning into the evening, helping families stay connected to what their children are working on. For teens ready to stretch further, youth leadership training introduces them to concepts like community service, project planning, and public speaking, supported by workbooks and real‑world opportunities.
All mentoring is guided by trauma‑informed, clinically supervised staff, so we are attentive to the impact of stress, loss, or instability. We focus on strengths first, helping each young person recognize what they already bring to the table.
Parents and caregivers are included as partners, receiving updates and guidance on how to reinforce new skills at home. The result is a mentoring relationship that builds confidence today and "mental wealth" for years to come.
